About Me
I’m Sonam Shah—a mom of two, Certified Health and Life Coach, and former software engineer with over 16 years of experience. My journey into health coaching began with my own struggles and a desire to create meaningful, lasting change in my life.
After being diagnosed with thyroid issues, I felt overwhelmed and unsure where to start. I wanted to support my health and healing, but taking on everything at once felt impossible. I realized that true transformation isn’t about drastic changes—it’s about focusing on one small, sustainable step at a time.
I began by making manageable adjustments to my nutrition, choosing what was healthy, easy, and sustainable for me. Slowly, I added movement into my life, starting small and eventually making strength training and yoga a regular part of my routine. These steps weren’t just about achieving a goal; they became the foundation of a lifetime habit.
The same approach helped me embrace a new career in health coaching. By taking it one step at a time, I turned my passion into a purpose. I believe that meeting yourself where you are and focusing on sustainable, achievable changes can create powerful transformation.

Why I Do This
I believe true health isn’t just about looking good—it’s about feeling good from the inside out. It’s about having the energy to enjoy life, the balance to handle its challenges, and the clarity to pursue what matters most.
Through my own struggles with postpartum depression, low energy, and thyroid issues, I’ve learned that achieving goals becomes easier when they’re clear, realistic, and approached with small, sustainable steps. Trying to tackle everything at once felt overwhelming, but when I started focusing on one habit at a time, I discovered how powerful and enjoyable transformation can be.
I also believe in tapping into the inner strengths we all have. True change comes not just from external actions but from understanding and nurturing what drives us internally. When we align our habits with our values and strengths, progress becomes natural and fulfilling.
Movement, for me, is a reflection of this belief. Exercise doesn’t have to be intense or perfect—it can be simple, joyful, and adapted to where you are in life. Over time, small steps toward movement can grow into sustainable habits that support both physical and mental well-being.
